Introducing the All Summer Mango Tree, a unique variety that brings the tropical flavor of Florida right to your backyard. This tree, originally named after Marlys Zill, is a product of the esteemed breeding program of Gary Zill in Boynton Beach, Florida.
The All Summer Mango Tree is known for its extended fruiting season, living up to its name by producing luscious mangoes throughout the summer. The tree itself has a moderate growth rate and a spreading habit, making it a striking addition to any garden.
The mangoes produced by this tree are a sight to behold. They are large and round, with a vibrant red skin reminiscent of the popular Haden variety. Each fruit weighs an average of 1.5 to 2 pounds, promising a generous serving of deliciousness in every piece.
But it’s not just about looks. The All Summer Mango is all about flavor. The yellow, almost fiberless flesh is juicy and sweet, offering a classic Florida mango taste. It’s akin to the beloved Kent variety, with delightful notes of stone fruit and an unusual hint of citrus that sets it apart.
The All Summer Mango Tree ripens its fruits primarily in July, but its extended ripening period means you can enjoy its bounty for a longer time. Plus, it’s a monoembryonic seed, which adds to its uniqueness.
In summary, the All Summer Mango Tree is more than just a fruit-bearing plant. It’s a testament to exceptional breeding, a provider of delectable fruits, and a beautiful addition to any landscape. Experience the joy of growing and tasting your own mangoes with the All Summer Mango Tree. It’s a slice of Florida’s tropical paradise, right in your own home
