Banana Crush Jackfruit – Creamy, Sweet, and Crunchy

The Banana Crush Jackfruit delights with its cream-colored, extra-crunchy flesh and sweet, banana-like flavor. It's a vigorous grower, perfect for those who enjoy bold flavor and a firm bite.

Tree Characteristics:

  • Size & Growth: A vigorous-growing tree with a balanced canopy, reaching 10-12 feet if left unpruned. Regular pruning helps maintain a manageable height of 8-10 feet.
  • Temperature Tolerance: Thrives in USDA Zones 9B-11. Prefers full sun and regular watering for optimal growth.
  • Production Capability: Begins producing within 3-4 years, offering consistent harvests in warm climates.

Fruit Characteristics:

  • Fruit Size: Medium to large fruits, typically weighing around 20 pounds.
  • Flesh Quality: Cream-colored, extra crunchy, with large, edible bulbs. The sweet, aromatic flesh has a distinctive banana flavor.
  • Latex Type: Low latex, making it easier to clean and prepare compared to stickier varieties.
  • Harvest Time: Ripens mid-to-late summer, offering a reliable season for home gardeners.

Care Tips:

Banana Crush thrives in full sunlight and well-drained soil. Regular pruning keeps it at a manageable size for easier harvesting. Consistent moisture is key to healthy growth and fruit production.

Winter Shipping Advisory
Cold Weather Alert: Tropical trees are highly sensitive to cold temperatures. During colder months, our greenhouses maintain warm, optimal conditions for growth, which makes plants more vulnerable to cold damage during shipping.
Recommendations: If temperatures along the shipping route are below 40°F, we recommend holding your order until it’s safe to ship. We will notify you if a delay is necessary.
No Freeze Warranty: We do not guarantee plants shipped during freezing conditions. Shipping in cold weather is at the buyer’s discretion and risk.
Shipping Schedule
Local (In-State) Shipments: Orders ship Monday through Wednesday to ensure delivery before the weekend. Most locations within the state receive deliveries in 1 to 2 days.
Out-of-State Shipments: Orders ship primarily on Monday and Tuesday to avoid weekend delays.
