Step into the world of Fuyu ‘Jiro’ Persimmons, a fruit that promises an unparalleled experience. Known as the “Apple Persimmon”, this variety is celebrated for its medium size and unique flat shape. But it’s not just the shape that’s unique – unlike many other fruits, the Fuyu ‘Jiro’ Persimmon offers a delightful crunch even when ripe, making it a refreshing change from the usual soft and squishy ripe fruits.
A Fruit for All Seasons
The Fuyu ‘Jiro’ Persimmon is a hardy breed, flourishing in both cool and hot climates. This adaptability makes it a reliable and versatile choice for growers and consumers alike. The tree itself is a sight to behold – robust, attractive, and virtually pest-free, it’s a low-maintenance addition to any garden or orchard.
Harvesting Happiness
When fall arrives, so does the time to harvest these gems. The Fuyu ‘Jiro’ Persimmon tree is self-fruitful, meaning it doesn’t require another tree to bear fruit. This independence makes it an easy and rewarding choice for those looking to grow their own fruit. And with a chilling requirement of just 200 hours, it’s a tree that’s not too demanding.
A Taste Adventure
Bite into a Fuyu ‘Jiro’ Persimmon and you’ll understand why it’s a favorite among fruit lovers. Non-astringent in nature, it can be enjoyed while still hard, offering a unique taste adventure. Whether you’re a long-time persimmon fan or new to the world of fruits, the Fuyu ‘Jiro’ Persimmon is sure to delight your taste buds and become a staple in your fruit bowl.

No Freeze Warranty: We do not guarantee plants shipped during freezing conditions. Shipping in cold weather is at the buyer’s discretion and risk.
