Goldfinger Banana Tree (FHIA-01)

Discover the allure of the Goldfinger Banana Tree, a tropical marvel hailing from the fertile landscapes of Honduras. This semi-dwarf cultivar, standing at a manageable 10-12 feet, is a robust addition to any garden, offering a unique blend of visual appeal and hardiness.

The Goldfinger Banana Tree is a testament to nature’s resilience, boasting a high resistance to wind and cold, and an exceptional defense against diseases. Its sturdy pseudostem and base make it a reliable choice for those seeking a low-maintenance, high-yield plant.

The tree’s fruit is a delight to the senses. When ripe, the bananas offer a smooth, apple-like flavor that is reminiscent of the Musa ‘Dwarf Prata’. They are perfect for eating fresh or adding a tropical twist to your smoothies. When green, they can be boiled or fried for a savory treat.

Ripening at a leisurely pace, the Goldfinger Banana Tree asks for patience but rewards generously. The bananas are best ripened at 70 degrees Fahrenheit or above, and their readiness can be determined by their softness and ease of peeling.

With its commercial potential and the aim to replace the popular Cavendish banana, the Goldfinger Banana Tree is not just a plant, but a promising investment in the future of sustainable agriculture.

Bring home the Goldfinger Banana Tree and let its tropical charm transform your garden into a mini paradise.

Winter Shipping Advisory
Cold Weather Alert: Tropical trees are highly sensitive to cold temperatures. During colder months, our greenhouses maintain warm, optimal conditions for growth, which makes plants more vulnerable to cold damage during shipping.

No Freeze Warranty: We do not guarantee plants shipped during freezing conditions. Shipping in cold weather is at the buyer’s discretion and risk.
