Introducing the Green Thornless Jujube Tree (Ziziphus jujuba), a unique addition to any garden or landscape. This compact tree, standing at an average of 10 feet tall and wide, is a native of China and a member of the Rhamnaceae family.

The Green Thornless Jujube is a hardy tree, capable of withstanding temperatures as low as 25°F. It’s a fast grower, bearing fruit in just two to three years, making it a rewarding choice for those who want to see their efforts bear fruit quickly.

The tree’s fruit is its star attraction. Resembling an apple in texture and flavor, it’s often referred to as the ‘manzana’ or ‘manzanita’, Spanish for apple and little apple respectively. This tree is a significant commercial fruit crop in countries like Thailand, Vietnam, and India, and is also grown on a smaller scale in Malaysia and Australia.

The fruiting season runs from December to March, providing a winter harvest when many other fruit trees are dormant. The tree’s bush-like structure and weeping habit add an aesthetic appeal to any landscape.

In summary, the Green Thornless Jujube Tree is a prolific producer, a hardy survivor, and a beautiful addition to any plant nursery. Its unique characteristics make it a great choice for customers looking for something different in their gardens. ????????

Winter Shipping Advisory
Cold Weather Alert: Tropical trees are highly sensitive to cold temperatures. During colder months, our greenhouses maintain warm, optimal conditions for growth, which makes plants more vulnerable to cold damage during shipping.
Recommendations: If temperatures along the shipping route are below 40°F, we recommend holding your order until it’s safe to ship. We will notify you if a delay is necessary.
No Freeze Warranty: We do not guarantee plants shipped during freezing conditions. Shipping in cold weather is at the buyer’s discretion and risk.

Local (In-State) Shipments: Orders ship Monday through Wednesday to ensure delivery before the weekend. Most locations within the state receive deliveries in 1 to 2 days.
