Moro Blood Orange (Dwarf) – Bold Color, Rich Flavor, Compact Size

The Dwarf Moro Blood Orange is a showstopper in any garden — producing vibrant, deep crimson fruit with a rich, berry-like flavor unlike any other citrus. Grafted onto dwarf rootstock, this tree stays at a manageable 6–8 feet, making it ideal for containers, patios, or small-space citrus orchards.

Why Grow Moro Blood Orange (Dwarf)?

  • Flavor: Sweet-tart with subtle raspberry notes — intensely aromatic and juicy

  • Flesh: Deep red to purple, especially with cool winter nights

  • Fruit: Medium-sized with smooth orange skin tinged with blush

  • Tree Size: Grows 6–8 ft on dwarf rootstock — easy to manage and harvest

  • Harvest: Ripens in late winter to early spring (typically Jan–March)

  • Self-Fertile: No pollinator needed, but nearby citrus can boost yield

  • Zones: Best in USDA zones 9–11, or overwinter indoors in colder climates

  • Bonus: Fragrant blossoms and ornamental appeal year-round

If you’re looking for a citrus tree that brings color, flavor, and elegance in a compact form, the Dwarf Moro Blood Orange is your perfect pick. A favorite for juicing, cocktails, or simply slicing to impress.

No Freeze Warranty: We do not guarantee plants shipped during freezing conditions. Shipping in cold weather is at the buyer’s discretion and risk.

Local (In-State) Shipments: Orders ship Monday through Wednesday to ensure delivery before the weekend. Most locations within the state receive deliveries in 1 to 2 days.
