We are dedicated to bringing you a diverse range of plants, including the remarkable Navajo Blackberry. This variety is a gem from the University of Arkansas, introduced in 1988, and is ideally suited for North Florida’s climate, requiring 300-650 chill hours for optimal growth and reaching peak production at 800-900 chill hours.
This thornless variety stands tall and proud, making it a breeze to handle and care for. The berries it produces may be small in size, but they pack a punch when it comes to flavor. The fruit is firm with significantly fewer seeds than other thornless varieties, offering a delightful eating experience. The mature size of the Navajo blackberry plant can reach up to 4-6 feet tall and 3-5 feet wide.
The Navajo Blackberry is a hardy plant, capable of withstanding temperatures as low as -26°C and easily tolerating drought, winter winds, and frost. This resilience makes it a robust choice for both home gardeners and commercial producers.
Moreover, the Navajo cultivar is highly resistant to diseases, ensuring a hassle-free growing experience. It thrives in USDA Zones 6-10 and its upright canes require no support, making it a popular choice among our customers.
Discover the joy of growing your own Navajo Blackberries and savor the superb flavor of these unique berries. Explore our website today to browse our collection of plants and make your gardening dreams come true. Happy planting!

Winter Shipping Advisory
Cold Weather Alert: Tropical trees are highly sensitive to cold temperatures. During colder months, our greenhouses maintain warm, optimal conditions for growth, which makes plants more vulnerable to cold damage during shipping.
Recommendations: If temperatures along the shipping route are below 40°F, we recommend holding your order until it’s safe to ship. We will notify you if a delay is necessary.
No Freeze Warranty: We do not guarantee plants shipped during freezing conditions. Shipping in cold weather is at the buyer’s discretion and risk.
Shipping Schedule
Local (In-State) Shipments: Orders ship Monday through Wednesday to ensure delivery before the weekend. Most locations within the state receive deliveries in 1 to 2 days.
Out-of-State Shipments: Orders ship primarily on Monday and Tuesday to avoid weekend delays.
