Glen Navel Orange – Classic Florida Flavor, Full-Sized and Fruitful

The Glen Navel Orange Tree is a beloved Florida variety known for its large, seedless fruit, exceptional sweetness, and high juice content. A natural mutation of the Washington Navel, it was discovered at Glen St. Mary’s Nursery near Jacksonville in the 1950s and has been a top choice for commercial growers and home orchards ever since.

Why Grow Glen Navel (Standard Size)?

  • Flavor: Bold, sweet, and aromatic — a true navel classic

  • Fruit: Large, seedless, and easy to peel — perfect for eating fresh or juicing

  • Ripening Season: October to January

  • Tree Size: Grows 12–14 feet tall, or larger if unpruned

  • Cold Tolerance: Moderate; best in USDA zones 9–10

  • Productivity: Heavy-bearing with consistent yields season after season

This tree shines in open landscapes, small orchards, and long-term citrus collections. With room to grow, it becomes a reliable producer of premium winter fruit and a beautiful, evergreen centerpiece in the yard.

If you’re looking for a high-performing, full-size orange tree with real Florida heritage and unbeatable flavor, the Glen Navel is a proven winner.

Winter Shipping Advisory
Cold Weather Alert: Tropical trees are highly sensitive to cold temperatures. During colder months, our greenhouses maintain warm, optimal conditions for growth, which makes plants more vulnerable to cold damage during shipping.
Recommendations: If temperatures along the shipping route are below 40°F, we recommend holding your order until it’s safe to ship. We will notify you if a delay is necessary.
No Freeze Warranty: We do not guarantee plants shipped during freezing conditions. Shipping in cold weather is at the buyer’s discretion and risk.
Shipping Schedule
Local (In-State) Shipments: Orders ship Monday through Wednesday to ensure delivery before the weekend. Most locations within the state receive deliveries in 1 to 2 days.
Out-of-State Shipments: Orders ship primarily on Monday and Tuesday to avoid weekend delays.
